Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Emperen Technologies in Gurugram.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience developing core Java applications across enterprise, SME, or start-up environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, and monitoring microservices
  • Developing distributed systems and event-driven architectures using Spring Boot and Spring Framework
  • Creating RESTful APIs and integrating them with cloud services
  • Working with persistence technologies including JPA, Hibernate, MS-SQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in Java 11+, including features like Streams, Lambdas, and Functional Programming
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS DevOps
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred)
  • Front-end development experience using React or Angular with good understanding of leveraging best practices around HTML, CSS3/Tailwind, Responsive designs
  • Agile environment expertise with iterative development and regular demos
  • Container orchestration using Managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE)
  • Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team

Additional requirements include:

  • A solid background in hospitality services is a plus
  • Experience with event-driven technologies like Kafka, MQ, Event Buses
  • Skilled in code and query optimization
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
