Global Banking and Markets

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Global Banking Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-priority projects across all typical project phases, including building test automation frameworks and strategies, designing and executing test cases, and automating test cases.

Your Impact

As a Global Banking Professional, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse slate of high-priority initiatives, expanding your technical skills and visibility across the entire global Goldman Sachs organization. You will collaborate with an ever-changing cadre of stakeholders to deliver test automation ranging from tactical to strategic solution implementation.

Our Impact

The Testing CoE is a centralized framework that comprises strategic assets – process, people, tools, and best practices – to govern how a testing organization engages and delivers highly efficient and effective testing services to the Operations division. The objectives are to automate testing and execute strategy, establishing the capability, including people, processes, and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build test automation frameworks and strategies in partnership with Technology and Operations
  • Design and execute test cases for UAT and regression testing
  • Automate test cases, refine, and update the regression test pack
  • Defect management and participate in status calls
  • Build and manage strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders in Operations, Technology, and the business
  • Understand the firm's and Operation's strategic plans, business, process, and architecture to influence design and drive change
  • Working knowledge of financial products, including Equities, Fixed Income, Exchange Traded, and OTC Derivatives
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting and perform testing as per various Regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in test automation
  • Experience in functional and automation testing using tools like Selenium, FitNesse, Cucumber, or similar testing tools
  • Good knowledge of Soap and Rest API
  • Good understanding of test automation frameworks like data-driven, hybrid-driven, etc.
  • Knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and technologies
  • Manage multiple tasks, great analytical skills, and use sound judgment
  • Ability and skills to understand business requirements, analyze, and write test scripts
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Pro-activeness, flexibility, and creativity in driving results
  • Team player and fast learner, ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
