Job Opportunity:

Network Support Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 1 support for global IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Manage Engine, Cisco Prime, NAGIOS.
  • Perform proactive monitoring of Cisco R&S, HP Aruba, Ruckus Wireless, WAN and ISP links.
  • Handle bandwidth utilization analysis and generate availability and trend reports.
  • Respond to alerts/notifications configured in monitoring systems.
  • Carry out basic network operations: VLAN creation, port/user mapping, DHCP, wireless connectivity troubleshooting, etc.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and third-party vendors for issue resolution.
  • Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change & Configuration Management.
  • Work with ticketing tools like ServiceNow for issue tracking and resolution.

Technical Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a global IT support environment.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and network gear.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN bandwidth and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in generating technical reports for clients or management.
  • Exposure to global customer support environments.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with global IT support operations.
  • Proficient in monitoring and ticketing tools.

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes.
  • CCNA certification is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network technologies and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
