Cloud and Big Data Architect Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Cloud and Big Data Architect to join our team.

  • This is a full-time hybrid role, offering flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based big data architectures.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data quality and reliability through effective data management practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cloud technologies, data management, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in Azure, with overall professional experience of less than 10 years.
  • Proficient in Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and their integration with cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices, including data governance and data lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Argo CD, GitHub Actions).
  • Azure certification (AZ-104 / AZ-305 / AZ-204) and DevOps experience are a plus.
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
