Embroidery Designer

We are seeking a skilled and creative professional to join our team as an Embroidery Designer.

The successful candidate will have a passion for designing fabric manipulation, embroidery, and textures. They will combine artistic skills with technical knowledge to create digital designs that bring our garments to life.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design Development
  • Create original fabric manipulation techniques, embroidery, textile designs, including patterns, prints, weaves, and innovative materials.
  • Develop color palettes and experiment with dyeing techniques, laser techniques, and mixing of other materials.
  • Research trends in fashion, textiles, and consumer preferences.
  1. Material Selection
  • Choose appropriate fabrics and materials based on design requirements and functionality.
  • Source sustainable or innovative materials when needed.
  1. Technical Skills
  • Use design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or CAD to create digital designs.
  • Understand textile production processes, including weaving, knitting, printing, and dyeing.
  • Create technical specifications for manufacturers.
  1. Collaboration
  • Work closely with fashion designers, product developers, and manufacturers to ensure designs align with the overall vision.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand target audiences and market trends.
  1. Prototyping and Sampling
  • Develop prototypes and samples to test designs.
  • Make adjustments based on feedback and production feasibility.
  1. Quality Control
  • Ensure that the final textiles meet quality standards and design specifications.
  • Address any issues during production.
  1. Sustainability and Innovation
  • Explore eco-friendly materials and sustainable production methods.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and innovations in textile design.

Candidates should possess:

  • The ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in textile design software (e.g., Adobe Suite, CAD).
  • An understanding of fabric properties, weaving, knitting, and printing techniques.

  • Precision in creating designs and ensuring quality.
  • Trend Awareness:
  • A keen eye for fashion and textile trends.
  • The ability to predict and adapt to changing consumer preferences.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
