We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, as well as orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow. They will also be responsible for processing and transforming large datasets using tools such as Pyspark, Dataflows, and Dataproc.

In addition, the successful candidate will have experience with Big Query, including creating, updating, and downloading jobs. They will also be familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Github actions, Docker, and Jenkins builds.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. The candidate will also be responsible for creating documentation of all data components, including data architecture, logical and physical data models, database objects, and database administration.

  • Design and implement data pipelines
  • Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow
  • Process and transform large datasets using Pyspark, Dataflows, and Dataproc
  • Work with Big Query, including creating, updating, and downloading jobs
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Github actions, Docker, and Jenkins builds
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
  • Experience with Java or Python programming languages
  • Prior financial or banking experience is highly desired
