Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, and plans in support of various development methodologies.
  • This role requires proficiency in designing, building, and executing automated tests using Java or Python, Selenium, Appium, etc.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining automated scripts utilizing the existing framework, adhering to coding standards.
  • Key tasks include analyzing end-to-end scenarios, gathering requirements, and designing test cases for automation.
  • A collaborative team player is needed to work closely with stakeholders to identify regression testing needs and create an Automated Regression Suite.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a software quality professional is required.
  • Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Regression, Functional, Systems, User Acceptance) is essential.
  • Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting features tested and bugs found are crucial.
  • A motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on technical challenges is ideal.
  • Self-motivation, independent work style, and excellent teamwork skills are necessary for success.
