Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Billing Specialist to join our contracts/QS team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in post-contract management, with expertise in executing seamless risk-averse processes for quality, cost, and timelines control.
Key Responsibilities- Issuing work orders for MEP-related services in residential and commercial projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.
- Setting up reconciliation mechanisms for materials issued by clients against work orders.
- Sending certified and approved bills along with tax invoices to the accounts department for timely payment.
- Purchase order billing for suppliers, consultants, and all vendors.
- Verifying bill certifications against vendors, ensuring IS-1200-codal provisions are present in bills, and claims are in sync with contract specifications mentioned in work orders.
- Handling change orders for changes to work orders post-negotiation of contracts.
- Documenting all internal and external correspondence for faster retrieval.
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6-10 years' experience in residential and commercial real estate projects.
- Certification from MRICS/AACE would be a plus.
- PG in construction management will be a plus.
We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 per annum, reflecting the market rate for this position based on industry standards and location.
