  • A strong understanding of data governance and security best practices is essential for ensuring data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.

Familiarity with cloud data warehousing and business intelligence, as well as proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models, are highly valued. Experience with CI/CD processes and agile systems such as Jira is also beneficial.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize data transformation processes using Snowflake.
  • Utilize SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows.
  • Lead or participate in data migration projects to ensure seamless data transfer and integration.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Snowflake and data transformation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
