Financial Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounts payable, and supplier liability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Verify and process all accounts payable invoices, ensuring accurate statutory deductions and compliance with company policies.
  • Accounts Payable: Prepare monthly statements of accounts payable, including TDS reconciliation, and submit to the Finance Head for approval.
  • Supplier Liability: Generate supplier liability statements within specified deadlines, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Fixed Assets Register: Update the fixed assets register monthly, incorporating detailed information within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Statutory Compliances: Oversee the preparation of statements for statutory dues, such as TDS, PF, Service Tax, and ESI, and ensure timely remittances to the Regional Office or Headquarters.
  • GST Compliance: Monitor and reconcile GSTR 2B, 3B, and 1 to maintain GST compliance.
  • Budget Implementation: E nsure timely implementation of budgets and provide regular variance reports to management.
  • Cash Flow and Reconciliations: Prepare monthly profitability statements, cash flow reports, and various cost control statements in a timely manner.
  • Letters of Credit and Guarantees:
  • SAP Experience: A working knowledge of SAP environment is required for this position.
