Job Title: Senior Software Development Expert

About the Role

This is a pivotal position for an experienced software development professional to lead our team in designing, implementing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions. As a senior expert, you will be responsible for planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, testing, and deploying software systems and applications.

You will work closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users to develop and enhance existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software solutions following established architectural guidelines and control standards.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and design.
  • Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solution for a new or existing design.
  • Handle and triage application issue escalations and liaise with clients/operations.
  • Provide support to functional and performance test teams as part of each agile sprint.
  • Provide production support as necessary.
  • Create documentation in the form of quick reference guides and user manuals.
  • Create and maintain process documents to facilitate smooth handover to production support teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong background in Hibernate, Spring, REST framework, Kafka.
  • Expertise in writing Java code.
  • Expertise in modernizing and migrating application workloads running in public and private cloud.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating system and shell scripting.
  • Having knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is an advantage and scheduling tools such as Autosys.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues in AWS cloud.
  • Experience in ensuring enterprise defined governance policies and audit compliance requirements are met.

The company also offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, with onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a third day unique to each team or employee.
