Expert Automation Professional

The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating complex processes using advanced technologies.

With a strong background in software development, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, Django, and Ansible.

We are seeking a seasoned professional who can manage incident/change/problem management in a fast-paced IT environment.

  • Expertise in managing SAN technologies, including VMAX, VNX, HP 3par, Cisco & Brocade.
  • Experience with SRDF and array-based replication.
  • Hands-on experience with fabric refresh planning/execution/cutover process in both Cisco & Brocade.
  • Building new arrays and fabric switches from scratch.
  • Host-based/SRDF migrations array migrations, including host-based ACL's.
  • Decommissioning process of all SAN technologies.
  • Patching/code installations and upgrades in all array and fabric models.
  • Managing Isilon and CDOT file storage.
  • Planning and implementing NAS migration at large scale.
  • Supporting Broadcom Brocade G620, G720, 7840 – department class and Gen 6 and Gen 7 – director class switches.
  • Large-scale fabric migrations.
  • Performance and Capacity management for Block and File storage.
  • IP-based Block storage – Solidfire, ScaleIO, Powerflex.
  • Basic UNIX management skills.
  • Software development experience in general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C, C++, Go, Shell scripting).
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, detail-oriented, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent debugging and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Flexibility to participate in global coverage as needed.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives.
  • Dealing with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures, and processes.
  • Working in high-paced environments, flexibility, meeting tight deadlines, organizing, and prioritizing work.
  • Team player and leader with commitment, dedication, positive attitude, and high-level performance on high-profile/time-sensitive initiatives.
