Overview

  • The role of the Finance Manager will be pivotal in shaping the financial leadership of a pioneering organization in the Information Technology-enabled solutions space.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Financial Strategy - Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards by developing and implementing an overall accounting strategy.
  2. Manage Day-to-Day Finance Operations - Oversee core accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, and cash forecasting, as well as manage day-to-day finance operations, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams - Collaborate with the finance team and management to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  4. Process Improvement - Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.
  5. Training and Development - Train and advise team members on handling routine financial transactions and reporting.
  6. Reporting and Analysis - Design and implement Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting formats and deliver consolidated reports to management.
  7. Stakeholder Communication - Address queries from stakeholders related to financial results or ad-hoc reporting needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • CA / CMA / ICWA qualified with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, or semi-qualified professionals with 8 - 9 years of relevant combined experience.
  • Proven experience in overseeing accounting operations and managing general ledger processes across multiple entities.
  • Solid understanding of Income Tax and GST provisions, with practical application to day-to-day transactions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across teams and with leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with ZOHO and Tally is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Work Location: Central Bangalore with proximity to MG road metro station.
