Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our electronic data interchange processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless data flow between trading partners, vendors, and internal business applications.

The role will involve administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting EDI transactions and integrations with business applications such as ERP, supply chain, finance, etc. This includes managing onboarding of new trading partners and maintaining EDI maps, specifications, and communication protocols.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing environments and be familiar with cloud-based EDI platforms or integration tools. Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices is also highly desirable.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with business teams, vendors, and external partners to support integration projects.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting EDI transactions and integrations with business applications.
  • Managing onboarding of new trading partners and maintaining EDI maps, specifications, and communication protocols.
  • Collaborating with business teams to analyze and resolve EDI-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with EDI standards and company policies, including data security and regulatory requirements.
  • Working closely with vendors, IT teams, and external partners to support integration projects.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation, including process flows, technical specs, and partner guidelines.
  • Providing support for audits, testing, and validation of new or modified EDI processes.
