Job Role: Data Scientist

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving business decisions using data-driven insights. You should be skilled at leveraging large datasets to identify opportunities for product and process optimization.

You must have a proven ability to drive business results with your analytical skills. You must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions
  • Analyse and interpret complex data from various sources to inform strategic business decisions
  • Develop and maintain databases to store and retrieve relevant data
  • Create reports and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven initiatives
  • Analyse trends and patterns in large datasets to identify areas for improvement
  • Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and drive business growth
  • Presentation of information using data visualization techniques
  • Good understanding of database management systems and data analytics tools
  • Development and deployment of advanced machine learning models to enhance and/or automate existing business processes with predictive decision making content aggregation and contextualized insights
  • Familiarity with statistical programming languages such as R and Python
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
  • Understanding of data mining techniques and statistical analysis

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
  • 5-8 years of experience in data analysis and interpretation with proficiency in software tools such as Excel, SQL and Tableau
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and D3.js
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
