Job Title: Associate Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to spearhead our testing efforts for ETL processes, Data Warehousing, and Data Migrations with a strong focus on Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical expertise combined with leadership qualities to guide junior engineers, ensure best practices, and deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and support testing efforts for ETL processes, Data Warehousing, and Data Migrations with a strong emphasis on Snowflake.
  • Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data validation and quality assurance.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation between source and target systems.
  • Design data quality frameworks for Athena's Snowflake and HighTouch environments.
  • Validate data completeness, transformations, and client onboarding workflows.
  • Perform row-level and aggregated data validations across client datasets.
  • Support data governance, auditing, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, data engineers, and developers to ensure requirements are translated into effective testing scenarios.
  • Identify data quality issues, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Drive automation in ETL and DWH testing where feasible.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance and security are met.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Advocate for Quality Engineering practices over quality control activities.
