Australian Accounting Associate Job Description

As a dedicated professional in Australian accounting, you will be responsible for providing expert support to clients in preparing and filing tax returns, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering high-quality financial statements.

This role demands a strong focus on detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-notch support to clients on taxation queries and bookkeeping services.

  • Prepare and file tax returns for individual and business clients in compliance with Australian taxation laws.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions for clients, including bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks.
  • Deliver high-quality financial statements and reports for clients.
  • Support clients in GST and BAS preparation and lodgement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Australian tax regulations and deadlines.

Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, alongside knowledge of Australian tax systems and bookkeeping practices.

Additional requirements include familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks), strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
