The Continental Automotive team is looking for a seasoned robotics software engineer to develop cutting-edge robotic solutions.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of mobile robot applications using ROS2.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on autonomous systems and mobile robotics.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing well-documented, industry-ready robot application software solutions
  2. Benchmarking the performance of existing and developed software solutions
  3. Optimizing execution performance of developed software modules
  4. Contributing to design and development of new utility software and tooling required for improving overall robustness of autonomy functionalities

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in software development for autonomous systems
  • Strong programming skills in C++ or Python
  • An eye for detail and commitment to delivering customer value through robust software solutions
  • Robotics and/or IoT security experience is a plus
  • Self-driven, possesses a strong desire to learn new technologies and willingness to share knowledge with the team
  • Good communication and presentation skills and ability to work well within a team

Expected qualifications include:
