Visual Storyteller Role

We are seeking a skilled Visual Storyteller to join our team as we expand our creative capabilities. As a Visual Storyteller, you will play a crucial role in delivering impactful visual presentations and designs that effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging visuals that align with client brand identities and resonate with target audiences.

  • Developing interactive communication designs
  • Translating ideas into tangible design concepts
  • Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers
  • Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print
  • Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactively work by coordinating handoffs, sharing context, and aligning on shared goals.
  • Stay current on design trends, software updates, and best practices.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and new visual approaches.
  • Assist in internal design reviews and share learnings with the team.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in visual design, preferably in a creative agency or design studio.
  • Bachelor s degree preferred in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio (3 - 5 pieces) demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution across various mediums.
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Basic skills in motion graphics/video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Familiarity with web/UI tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Google Slides, Sites, and other G Suite tools.
  • Curiosity about Generative AI and emerging design tech.
