**System Security Administrator Role Overview**

This position is for an experienced system security administrator with a proven track record in managing SAP security roles, change management processes, and peer reviews. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Administer SAP Security Roles: Design and implement effective SAP security roles that align with business requirements and compliance standards.
  • Change Management: Participate in defined change management processes and ensure adherence to approved procedures.
  • Peer Review: Engage in thorough security role peer reviews to guarantee quality and compliance.
  • Security Event Analysis: Utilize SAP security tools to analyze security events, access patterns, and compliance alerts.
  • Policy Enforcement: Understand and apply IT security policies and SAP GSEC standards effectively.
  • System Configuration: Possess a deep understanding of SAP security system parameters and authorization tables.
  • Issue Resolution: Employ standard techniques to troubleshoot and resolve low-to-moderate security issues efficiently.
  • Process Improvement: Actively identify and suggest improvements in existing processes and workflows.
  • Decision-Making: Make informed decisions for non-standard requests that deviate slightly from defined processes.
  • Project Support: Provide support for SAP-related projects involving role design, user provisioning, and access control.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security administration.
  • Experience with role design, user provisioning, and change management processes.
  • Working knowledge of Information Security tools and analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with SoD/SOX compliance requirements and role-based access control.
  • Strong understanding of SAP security parameters, tables, and related tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with functional and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and escalate when necessary.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Knowledge of GRC Access Control tools.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
