Cloud & DevOps Engineer Position

This role involves working with a talented team to design and implement industry-leading solutions. Our collaborative environment fosters growth, creativity, and opportunities for professionals to hone their skills in business problem-solving.

  • In this position, you will be responsible for designing and enabling application support, handling production farms, and managing various infrastructure platforms for different delivery teams.

You'll serve as a subject matter expert, responsible for designing and building scalable and efficient infrastructure platforms as a system architect.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To establish best practices, cultivate thought leadership, and develop common practices/solutions on infrastructure.
  • To drive technology innovation and improve operational efficiency by leveraging your technical expertise.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or technology, or a master's degree in engineering or computer applications, with 9-12 years of experience in DevOps.
  • Expertise in Cloud tools: AWS, Azure, GCP; Version Control: Git, Gitlab, GitHub; Container Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Hosted solutions; Service Mesh technologies: Istio, Linkerd, Kuma.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Chef/Puppet/Ansible, Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation; Build tools: Ant, Maven, Make, Gradle; Artifact repositories: Nexus, JFrog Artifactory; CI/CD tools: Jenkins, TeamCity.
  • Monitoring, Logging, and Security: CloudWatch, cloud trail, log analytics, hosted tools like ELK, EFK, Splunk, Prometheus, OWASP, SAST, and DAST; Scripting languages: Python, Ant, Bash, Shell.

Key Skills:

  • Able to estimate setup time required for infrastructure and build/release activities.
  • Good working knowledge of Linux Operating System, scripting in BASH/Python/Perl/Ruby, and certification in any cloud (Architect or Professional).
  • Capacity Planning, Infrastructure estimations, and understanding of DBMS like MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL like Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.
