High-Rise Residential Project Planning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our team for high-rise residential projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and tracking, as well as risk management and cost estimation.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule development and management

    • Coordinate with internal departments to align drawings, materials, and manpower with schedule baselines and milestones
    • Share approved schedules with site teams and highlight critical paths
    • Verify actual progress through site visits and lead/lag analysis

  • Risk Management and Cost Estimation:

    • Monitor daily site activities using master bar charts
    • Track drawing receipts and material requests
    • Maintain stage-wise tracing reports with revision logs
    • Prepare monthly progress and costing reports

  • Quality Control and Assurance:

    • Analyze architectural and structural drawings to quantify civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works
    • Develop detailed cost projections and review BBS
    • Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare cost comparisons

  • Project Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Monitor project budgets and update forecasts based on scope changes
    • Maintain inflation-adjusted cost databases

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with design, execution, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment of estimates with project goals
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • B.E./ M.E. in Civil Engineering with around 5 years of experience in estimation for high-rise residential projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and market rates
  • Hands-on experience with estimation software and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
