Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, scalability, and performance of our business and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support and operations for business and web applications
  • Work on all types of production support activities, including installations, configurations, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Design and deploy applications using cloud-based platforms and application architectures
  • Monitor and fine-tune applications for performance issues
  • Implement automated deployment of applications
  • Work with monitoring systems and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree with about five years of experience as an application support administrator in a Microsoft oriented IT environment
  • Excellent knowledge in administering applications in cloud environments with a minimum of two years of experience
  • Strong expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server
  • Good understanding of common network protocols (HTTP, FTP) and SSL along with knowledge of debugging network related issues using various available tools like Wireshark
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases
