Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Automation Testing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust mobile test automation frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and Cucumber.

You will leverage mobile test labs (e.g., Sauce, Perfecto) for scalable and efficient mobile test execution and contribute to enhancing existing test automation frameworks. Additionally, you will apply your knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java and Python for automation script development.

You will also utilize JIRA XRAY or similar test management tools (ALM, Zephyr, etc.) for test case management, execution tracking, and reporting. Moreover, you will work with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins to integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.

This role requires experience with open-source test automation tools, including Selenium, JUnit, Appium, and Cucumber. You should have hands-on mobile testing and automation experience using a mobile test lab and proficiency with JIRA XRAY or similar test management tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobile Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust mobile test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Test Lab Utilization: Leverage mobile test labs for scalable and efficient mobile test execution.
  • Framework Enhancement: Contribute to leveraging existing test automation frameworks and enhancing their capabilities.
  • Programming & Scripting: Apply knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java and Python for automation script development.
  • Test Management: Utilize JIRA XRAY or similar test management tools for test case management, execution tracking, and reporting.
  • CI/CD Integration: Work with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins to integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with open-source test automation tools including Selenium, JUnit, Appium, and Cucumber.
  • Mobile testing & automation experience using a mobile test lab.
  • Experience with JIRA XRAY or similar test management tools.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Experience leveraging existing test automation frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
  • Understanding of functional testing strategies and tooling.
  • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
  • Familiarity and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mandatory Skills
  • Mobile automation testing experience using Selenium, JUnit, Appium, Cucumber.
Good to Have Skills
  • Experience using a mobile test lab (Sauce, Perfecto, etc.).
  • Experience with JIRA XRAY or similar test management tools (ALM, Zephyr, etc.).
