Automation Test Lead

The Automation Test Lead is responsible for developing test strategies and plans, maintaining automation test data. This role involves executing automated tests, managing defect logs, ensuring the appropriate test environments are in place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features are developed.
  • Ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date.
  • Identify and report questionable functions, performance concerns, inconsistencies to product teams.
  • Document and mentor QA engineers in the use of testing frameworks.
  • Assist in the identification, selection, implementation of tools, technologies, practices supporting the overall QA process.
  • Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development.
  • Should have knowledge of Defect Management, Bug life cycle, Performance management.
  • Strong ability to debug test failures, trace to failing code.
  • Experience building automation frameworks for web-based software, mobile platforms.
  • Strong background in automation using object-oriented programming languages.
  • Integrate automated testing into a Jenkins CI/CD framework.
  • Strong SQL skills, data validation.
  • Ability to articulate drive sustainable processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, project management organizational skills.
  • Experience working Agile Scrum environment.
  • Excellent written verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to pitch ideas test new approaches.
  • Extensive knowledge implementation coding standards.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Leading mentoring guiding team on solution creation, PoC, prototyping problem solving consulting engagements.
  • Ability to work independently self-motivated highly focused.

This is a challenging role requiring strong technical skills excellent communication abilities leading a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation testing Agile methodologies leading cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in automation testing.
  • Proven track record delivering high-quality automation testing solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge object-oriented programming languages.
  • Strong understanding DevOps principles practices.
  • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD framework.
  • Strong SQL skills data validation.
  • Ability to articulate drive sustainable processes.
