Job Title: BMS Hardware Architect

We are seeking an experienced BMS Hardware Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced Battery Management System (BMS) hardware solutions.

• Design and develop innovative BMS HW systems for energy storage applications.
• Ensure compliance with state-of-the-art designing principles, layout, and regulatory requirements.
• Own responsibility for delivering high-quality modules/systems on-time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide solutions to complex use cases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12-14 years of experience in developing BMS for energy storage/ESS.
• Hands-on experience in architecting Power Electronics concepts for BMS.
• Strong design knowledge of Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs.
• Knowledge of Regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries (UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730).
• Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience working with various Sensing Technologies (Temp Sensor, Voltage sensor, etc.).
• Experience working with hardware peripherals and communication ckt design.

• Knowledge of Safety Regulatory standards like IEC61508, ISO26262 when building HW designs.
• Working knowledge of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics for battery and energy products.
