Odoo Developer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Odoo Developer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in customizing, developing, and implementing various Odoo modules. The ideal candidate should have deep functional and technical knowledge of Odoo (v13-v17) and must be capable of delivering customized business solutions to clients.

The selected individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Odoo modules and features across various verticals such as Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HRMS, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python, XML, and Odoo ORM.
  • Create and enhance reports using QWeb and integrate user-friendly front-end elements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Work on API integrations, data migrations, and external service connections.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and UI/UX teams to deliver seamless ERP experiences.
  • Handle full lifecycle Odoo implementations including development, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for debugging and troubleshooting technical issues in live environments, analyzing business requirements and providing technical solutions aligned with Odoo best practices, and working effectively in a team environment.

Required Technical Skills:
  • Strong command over Python and Odoo ORM
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database management
  • Experience with XML, QWeb, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Proven experience in API integrations, web services (REST/SOAP), and data exchange formats (JSON, XML)
  • Familiarity with Odoo deployment, configuration, and server management (Linux-based environments)
  • Version control using Git or other repositories
