Senior Data Engineering Pipeline Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Tech Lead to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering pipeline solutions that address business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in Python, PySpark, Spark, and Palantir Foundry Platform components.
- Design and develop process designs for day-to-day operation of preclinical pipelines aligning with the overall data architecture.
- Ensure solution designs meet the required standards and best practices.
Team Leadership:
- Coordinate and oversee the data engineering team's day-to-day activities ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Review and merge pull requests, manage the product delivery roadmap, and track progress on user stories in project management tools.
Technical Expertise:
- Develop strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills using Big Data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with technical documentation and version control systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years IT experience with 6+ years in Data Engineering on Big Data platforms.
- Ability to work and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization setting.
