Job Opportunity: Senior Features Editor

The position of Senior Features Editor is crucial for the development and execution of features across all platforms, including print editions and digital media. As a key member of the editorial team, you will be responsible for overseeing stories from internal contributors as well as external writers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with senior editors to develop features for various platforms.
  • Mentoring junior writers through guidance and support.
  • Working closely with international colleagues to identify global story opportunities and contribute to network collaborations.
  • Representing the publication at trade events and conferences.
  • Contributing to social, digital, and video strategies.
  • Establishing and maintaining commercial relationships with revenue teams.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong writing and editing skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Prior experience in publishing or lifestyle magazines is highly desirable.
  • A flair for storytelling and trend identification is critical for engaging audiences.
  • Experience with SEO and data-driven analytics is an advantage.
  • A deep understanding of India's culture and a strong regional network are vital for this position.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work closely with business teams on revenue-generating projects.
