Job Title: Medical Transcriptionist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized medical transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and is proficient in typing with accuracy and speed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing physician dictation and transcribing it into clinical notes in EMR and billing systems. They will also prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring compliance with hospital and medical facility policies.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe physician dictation into clinical notes
• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts
• Ensure medical record compliance
• Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information
• Monitor lab results and screening procedures
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

• 3-5 years of experience as a medical transcriptionist
• Proficiency in EHR systems and typing software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
