Key Data Engineering Role

We are seeking an experienced data professional to join our analytics team. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and maintain large-scale data systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience with big data stacks and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

  • Closely collaborate with engineering teams and product management in an agile environment.
  • Design and build real-time stream & batch data processing systems.
  • Develop services and analytics solutions.
  • Write unit and end-to-end tests for developed code.
  • Own scalability, high availability and data security for services.
  • Mentor other developers in best practices.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Have 5+ years of working experience.
  • Proven record of building ETL and Analytics applications.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python or Java.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs, as well as REST APIs.
  • Experience in modelling Data warehouses in BigQuery/RedShift.
  • Experience working with DBT or Dataform for building pipelines.
  • Experience building and embedding dashboards.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and streaming concepts and principles.
  • Capacity to pivot to new languages and frameworks.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new things and cutting-edge technology.
