AEM Full Stack Developer Job Description

At our organization, we are looking for a highly skilled AEM Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable AEM-based solutions integrated with Angular.

  • We require a strong understanding of AEM 6.x/Cloud architecture, AEM Core Components, and experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of AEM development experience and 2+ years of Angular experience.
  • Prior experience in Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, database management systems (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL), and containerization (e.g., Docker) is essential.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure high-quality code through unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.

As an AEM Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying scalable AEM-based solutions integrated with Angular.
  • Developing customizable AEM components using AEM Core Components, Sling Models, and HTL.
  • Integrating Angular applications with AEM, utilizing RESTful APIs and AEM's Content Services.
  • Developing responsive, accessible, and performant front-end applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Developing AEM server-side logic using Java, OSGi, and Apache Sling.
  • Ensuring high-quality code through unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • AEM: Strong expertise in AEM 6.x/Cloud, AEM Core Components, and AEM Architecture.
  • Angular: Proficient in Angular 8+, TypeScript, and Angular CLI.
  • Java: Strong understanding of Java, OSGi, and Apache Sling.
  • Database: Experience with database management systems (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL).
  • Agile: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
