  • Conduct data rationalization and normalization aligning with established healthcare standards (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED).
  • Aggregate and consolidate datasets from multiple systems including EHRs, claims, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop and execute data extraction workflows to generate AI-ready features.
  • Ensure data quality assurance and validation checks for reliability and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML teams to synchronize data preparation with project objectives.
  • Implement efficient automation and scripting for data handling.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, transformations, and metadata.
  • Comply with HIPAA, data governance, and security regulations.

  • Significant experience in healthcare data engineering, particularly in claims, EHR, and clinical datasets.
  • Proficiency in data cleaning, normalization, aggregation, and feature extraction techniques.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, HL7, FHIR).
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, and automation frameworks for data workflows.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from multiple healthcare systems and vendors.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions, APIs, payer platforms, and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to partner with AI/ML teams.
