About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Demand specialist to manage our Supply Chain Planning processes, covering inventory management and sales forecasting.

Responsibilities
  • Support Sales Forecasting Processes, including predictive analytics and supply chain optimization.
  • Data Collection and Troubleshooting: Collect data from Fusion and internal systems, identifying failures and implementing fixes.
  • Supply Planning Support: Support supply planning processes like MPR and constrained/unconstrained planning.
  • Data Models and APIs: Utilize expertise in supply planning data models, REST APIs, and BIP reports to drive business outcomes.
  • E2E Planning Integrated Business Cycles: Lead end-to-end planning integrated business cycles.
  • Critical Planning Issues: Resolve critical planning issues related to plan behavior, data gaps, supply/demand reconciliation issues, etc.
  • Patching Testing and Validations: Execute quarterly patching testing and validations.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Receive, analyze, and prioritize support tickets related to Oracle Demand Planning Processes, including sales forecasting and supply chain optimization.
  • Initial Assessment of Issues: Perform initial assessment of issues with data collection from Fusion, internal, and external systems.
  • Triage Failures: Triage failures and route to appropriate support teams/on-calls.
  • Document and Categorize Supply Planning Processes: Document and categorize supply planning processes like MRP and constrained/unconstrained planning.
  • Severity and Impact of Problems: Identify severity and impact of problems related to supply planning data models, REST APIs, and BIP reports.
  • Support for E2E Planning Integrated Business Cycles: Monitor and coordinate support for end-to-end planning integrated business cycles.
  • Manage Incident Tickets: Manage incident tickets related to support E2E Oracle SCP.
  • Quarterly Patch Testing Needs: Track and prioritize quarterly patch testing needs.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience with Oracle Demand, Supply Planning & Global Order Promising solutions.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Planning Concepts: Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and methodologies.
  • Data Collections and Integration: Proficiency in data collections and integration between systems.
  • MRP and Planning Process Knowledge: Knowledge of MRP and planning process.
  • REST APIs and BIP Reporting: Experience with REST APIs and BIP reporting.
  • Integrated Planning Business Cycles: Good understanding of integrated planning business cycles.
  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Quarterly Patch Testing: Ability to manage quarterly patch testing processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Data Models and System Integration: Technical aptitude with data models, BIP, and system integration (REST APIs, etc.).
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking Abilities: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
