At Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Asst Mgr - Manufacturing Process Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance to system and processes in respect to areas in the department to deliver customer and market desirables. They will also be responsible for benchmarking and implementation of world class technology for manufacturing. Additionally, they will plan and ensure optimum utilisation of man and assets. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team and will report directly to the department head. The role is based in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations and will be able to drive process improvements through analysis and problem-solving skills. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Lean principles. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. They will be responsible for communicating with cross-functional teams to ensure that process improvements are implemented effectively. The role involves travel to different locations within the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and will be able to communicate complex ideas effectively. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team and will contribute to the overall success of the company. The role requires a strong understanding of process improvement tools and techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in the manufacturing department. The role involves working closely with the quality team to ensure that quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance to system and processes in respect to areas in the department to deliver customer and market desirables.

2. Benchmark and implement world class technology for manufacturing.

3. Plan and ensure optimum utilisation of man and assets.

4. Drive process improvements through analysis and problem-solving skills.

5. Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure that process improvements are implemented effectively.

6. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in the manufacturing department.

7. Work closely with the quality team to ensure that quality standards are met.

8. Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

9. Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

10. Perform other duties as assigned by the department head.

Requirements

1. Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics; Diploma

2. Minimum 10 years to 15 years experience in manufacturing operations

3. Strong background in manufacturing operations and process improvements

4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Lean principles

5. Strong technical background and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

9. Ability to travel to different locations within the country

10. Strong understanding of process improvement tools and techniques
