Civil Engineer Position Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to oversee the day-to-day site activities of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards, as well as proficiency in reading drawings and specifications.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise site activities to ensure execution adheres to drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers for smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and manage resources efficiently, including manpower, materials, and machinery.
  • Ensure timely completion of project milestones according to schedule.
  • Maintain site records, including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurement.
  • Assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work bills.
  • Conduct quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, company standards, and safety norms.
  • Resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with project managers and consultants.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team, clients, and management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD and project planning tools (preferred)
  • Good leadership and team coordination skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development, and land use permitting
