Job Title: Engineering Manager HVAC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Manager HVAC to join our team at AccorHotel. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the operations and maintenance of engineering-related plants, equipment, and building services.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Planning:

  • Assist the Assistant Manager Engineering in identifying major facilities and equipment requirements for all departments and the property.
  • Ensure correct maintenance of all equipment in conjunction with other user departments and stay abreast with technological advances in surveillance and safety equipment.

People Management:

  • Establish and maintain seamless coordination and cooperation with all departments to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service.
  • Provide effective support to the team to enable them to deliver effective and efficient services.
  • Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Motivate and develop the team to ensure smooth functioning of the department.

Financial Management:

  • Ensure to maintain records of all materials and equipment.
  • Identify optimal cost-effective use of resources.

Operational Management:

  • Responsible for determining the maintenance plan of chillers, FCU, AHU, AC split fridges, and cold rooms.
  • Ensure that the Plant area and Workshop is maintained as per the Standards.
  • Ensure that preventive maintenance of the equipment is an ongoing process and also as per the specified standards.
  • Responsible for recording all the information regarding the spare parts and the equipment used in the AC Section.
  • Estimate the requirement of materials and inform the same to the Engineering Supervisor in order to notify the same to the Purchasing Department.

Hygiene / Personal Safety / Environment:

  • Ensure that the workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy.
  • Respect the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment (s)he uses.
  • Apply the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire, etc).

Qualifications:

  • Secondary/High school education.
  • Trade Certificate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Good reading and oral proficiency in the English language.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Results and service-oriented with an eye for details.
  • Ability to multitask, work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
  • A team player and builder.
  • A motivator and self-starter.
