Financial Strategist

The Investment Associate plays a vital role in driving the success of our organization, working closely with the Managing Director to source and evaluate investment opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing: Identify potential investors and partnerships through networking, industry events, and referrals.
- Evaluation: Analyze business models, financials, and scalability of potential investments, providing informed recommendations to senior team members.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough checks on shortlisted startups, ensuring seamless deal execution.
- Portfolio Support: Collaborate with portfolio companies on fundraising strategies, growth initiatives, and performance tracking.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth research into emerging sectors, identifying trends and opportunities for investment.
- Fund Operations: Assist with reporting to stakeholders, investment memos, and internal fund documentation.
- Ecosystem Building: Represent our organization at industry events, demo days, and founder meetings, fostering relationships and building brand awareness.
- Completed or ongoing Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 6-12 months of experience in VC, PE, consulting, investment banking, or startup strategy.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
