We are seeking a Fiber Network Specialist to support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed fiber optic networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation, splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables.
  • Perform OTDR, power meter, and light source testing to ensure network quality and efficiency.
  • Support network maintenance, fault identification, and restoration of fiber breaks to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of fiber routes, splicing details, and test reports for future reference.
  • Coordinate with field teams, contractors, and customers during project execution to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and project timelines to guarantee successful project delivery.
  • Provide on-site support for FTTH, backbone, and enterprise fiber projects, leveraging expertise to resolve complex issues.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or related field, with a strong foundation in fiber optics.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance, with a proven track record of success.
  • Familiarity with fiber splicing machines, OTDR, and other related tools, as well as basic knowledge of fiber technologies (single mode, multi-mode).
  • Ability to work effectively in field environments, travel to project sites, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
Preferred Competencies:
  • Understanding of FTTH, DWDM, MPLS, and backbone fiber networks, with a focus on advanced technologies.
  • Experience working on ISP / Telecom / Infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and protocols, as well as industry certifications such as OSHA.
