Medical Scribe Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scribe to join our team. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in the healthcare industry by accurately documenting patient information and helping medical professionals streamline their workflow.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative writing skills, be proficient in medical record software and hardware, and possess a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

  • Review physician dictation and transcribe clinical notes into EMR/Billing systems
  • Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians
  • Ensure medical record compliance through self-documentation attestation
  • Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's chart
  • Prepare and send all documentation to physicians for review and approval
  • Monitor lab results and screening procedures
  • Comply with hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission
