Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-driven Financial Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payments, billing, and reconciliation tasks accurately. You will play a crucial part in identifying discrepancies in the billing process and contributing to maintaining accurate financial records for employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing Backing Reports: Prepare and process backing reports for self-billing clients to ensure all billing information is accurate and complete.
  • Identify Billing Discrepancies: Proactively identify any gaps or discrepancies in the existing billing process, working to resolve them and improve the overall billing workflow.
  • Master Reconciliation: Update and maintain master reconciliation spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial data for payroll, billing, and payment.
  • Invoice Allocation: Allocate invoices to the appropriate customer accounts, ensuring correct coding and documentation are applied to maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of payment.
  • Customer Account Support: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues with customer accounts and ensure that all billing queries are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Process Improvement: Work with relevant departments to continuously evaluate and improve the billing process to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and timelines.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on the status of billing, payments, and any discrepancies identified.
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensure that all billing processes are compliant with legal and regulatory standards and assist with audits as required.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in billing and payments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
