Major Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable solutions using machine learning and analytical techniques for business problems.
  • Analyze Amazon's historical business data to automate and optimize key processes.
  • Develop, evaluate, and deploy innovative predictive models for business growth.
  • Research and implement novel machine learning approaches.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams for real-time model implementations and new feature creations.
  • Work closely with business owners and operations staff to optimize business operations.
  • Establish efficient processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation, and implementation.
  • Mentor other scientists and engineers in machine learning techniques.
Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in building models for business applications.
  • Experience with patents or publications at top-tier conferences or journals.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C++, Python.
  • Experience in algorithms, data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel computing, high-performance computing.
