Our team is seeking a visionary Software Architect to lead the development of innovative solutions for distributed computing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and deliver scalable software solutions for OneFS filesystem and data services.
- Develop cutting-edge features for OneFS to enhance performance, scalability, and GenAI readiness of PowerScale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal solution design, highest quality, and effective component reuse.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5-14 years of relevant experience in Distributed Software Systems, Operating Systems, File Systems, or Embedded Software.
  • Strong proficiency in C programming and experience with system software development.
  • Advanced knowledge of data structures, memory management, locking, design patterns, multithreading, and parallel programming.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, concurrency models, design patterns, and asynchronous concepts.
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux/POSIX based systems software development, storage networking protocols, and architectures.
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
