Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • ">Automated Test Engineer position involves the development, modification, and execution of software test plans, scripts, and programs for testing.
  • This role requires debugging software products through systematic tests to ensure quality standards.
Main Objectives
  • The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will design and implement automated test cases for Salesforce applications and related systems.
  • Develop functional, regression, and integration test cases for these applications.
  • Create and run automation test scripts using Tosca.
  • Conduct API testing using Tosca, validating request/response behavior across integrations.
Agile Environment

The candidate should actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and story refinement, contributing QA insights early in the development cycle.

Documentation and Collaboration

Document test plans, test cases, and test data sets, ensuring clear traceability to requirements.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills

Identify, log, and track defects, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to revalidate fixes.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
  • Experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a balance of both test automation and manual testing, typically 3 - 12 years.
  • Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment is essential.
  • Strong hands-on automation experience with programming skills is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • TOSCA Certification (TA1 or equivalent) or Salesforce Certification such as Administrator is preferred.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing, including test planning, execution, UAT, and regression testing, is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams are required.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and curious, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail are essential.
