Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and execute test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
  • Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of web and backend applications.
  • Data Validation: Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
  • Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Requirement Analysis: Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA insights during planning.
  • Process Improvements: Contribute to process improvements and QA best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • QA Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Manual and Functional QA.
  • Regression Testing: Strong understanding of Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing techniques.
  • SQL Proficiency: Proficiency in SQL for backend validation.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Remote Work: Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Desirable Skills:

  • Domain Experience: Experience in Mortgage, Finance, or Banking domains.
  • IBM Systems Knowledge: Knowledge of IBMi systems.
  • Automation Exposure: Exposure to Automation Testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
