The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in architectural principles and be able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. They should have an in-depth knowledge of project completion processes and effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysing architectural designs and plans
  • Ensuring all designs meet industry standards and government regulations
  • Researching and selecting materials
  • Supervising Junior Architects and assigning tasks
  • Scheduling and delivering skill enhancement workshops
  • Explaining design requirements and specifications to Builders, Electricians, and Technicians
  • Communicating project status and completion timelines to clients
  • Preparing building models and structure plans
  • Conducting mockup sessions
  • Guiding construction projects from start to finish
  • Presenting project briefs to clients
  • Understanding client requirements/preferences and environmental impacts on construction projects
  • Creating blueprints and making alterations based on client feedback
  • Developing projects within specified budget and timeline
  • Undertaking regular site visits and inspections
  • Developing and interpreting structural designs, and acting as mentors, managers, and advisors
  • Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design
  • Demonstrating creativity, foresight, and architectural judgment in developing architectural solutions
  • Producing construction documents using REVIT
  • Understanding construction assemblies and best practices
  • Actively coordinating design and equipment with consultants and other disciplines
  • Researching and selecting building products and composing written specifications
  • Participating in project meetings and documenting discussions through meeting minutes
  • Actively participating in quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones
  • Compiling documentation required to submit projects to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for review and approval
  • Managing projects through the Construction Administration phase by routing RFIs and shop drawings to appropriate team members
  • Traveling to and visiting project construction sites to observe construction progress and compose field reports
  • Continually learning and staying informed of new systems, methods, and sustainable practices to benefit the collective team and clients
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in architecture or related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
