We are seeking a skilled professional to build and maintain complex data processing environments. The ideal candidate will design, analyze, and troubleshoot bioinformatics-related systems and software, working with large datasets and optimizing CRUD operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain APIs, web services, and applications for bioinformatics purposes
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data and application issues, implementing effective improvements and solutions
  • Work with various databases, including Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, biology, or equivalent experience, as well as expertise in scripting languages like PERL and Linux systems. Familiarity with AWS environments and agile software development processes is a plus.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience designing and developing interactive scientific software solutions
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
