Senior Animation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Animation Specialist to join our creative team and contribute to the development of engaging casino slot games. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of animation principles, motion graphics, and software tools such as After Effects and Spine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce high-quality 2D animations for casino slot games, including reel spins, symbol win effects, free spins, and jackpot animations.
  • Bonus features, transitions, and cinematic sequences.
  • Animate characters, symbols, and UI elements using Spine for real-time deployment.
  • Create cinematic and VFX sequences using After Effects for polished, impactful visuals.
  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure animations fit seamlessly into the game environment and meet performance requirements.
  • Optimize animations for performance, memory usage, and smooth gameplay experience.
  • Mentor junior animators, share best practices, and help define animation standards.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of After Effects (motion graphics, compositing, particle systems, expressions).
  • Proficiency in Spine (skeleton rigging, mesh deformation, weights, IK constraints, runtime optimization).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop (asset preparation, sprite sheets, image editing) and Adobe Illustrator (vector asset creation and optimization).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Casino Slot Games or iGaming industry.
  • Understanding of player psychology in slots (anticipation, excitement, win hierarchy).
  • Knowledge of Unity or similar game engines for integration.
