Mathematical Problem-Solving Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished PhD-level researcher in mathematics to evaluate the problem-solving capabilities of advanced language models.

The objective is to assess how well these models handle abstract thinking and structured reasoning tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create intricate mathematical problems, review the AI's solutions, and provide insightful feedback on its ability to comprehend complex reasoning and logical processes.
  • Assume tasks such as finding permutations of elements or convex polyhedra that can be formed using specific vertices, and contribute to the development of novel mathematical concepts.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Possess a current enrollment in or completion of a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Be comfortable working independently, with a stable computer and internet connection, and a willingness to collaborate with peers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mathematical theories and concepts.
  • Able to design and create complex mathematical problems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
