Job Title: Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services in Rust, ensuring high performance, efficient memory usage, and reliability.
  • Build and enhance APIs and data pipelines that seamlessly interface with internal services, external partners, and end-users.
  • Implement secure coding best practices, conduct thorough code reviews, and develop testing strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities and prevent regressions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Continuously profile and refine code to reduce latency and enhance user experience.
  • Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Skillset:

  • Proficiency in Rust programming and its ecosystem.
  • Understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
  • Experience profiling applications, optimizing performance-critical code paths, and handling concurrency safely and efficiently.
  • Comfortable with Git-based workflows, continuous integration, and automated testing pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex issues and propose robust solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience coding in Rust.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
